My name is Uta and I live with my husband and our black Labrador Retriever Buddy near Brighton, Ontario. I was born and raised in Germany and moved to this wonderful country in 2010. Buddy came into our life when he was about one year young. He was found as a stray with frost bite and strangulation marks, but luckily saved by a rescue organization.

Being a first time dog owner, I had to learn a lot. And I had to make mistakes of course. I believed every word our Vet was saying and Buddy got ALL shots recommended and also chemical flea and tick medication. Buddy was tested Lyme positive about a year after we got him from the rescue. He was still a tick collector with these chemicals… and he also had several seizures, which we could’t address at that time. [now we have a pretty good idea why… they stopped once we took him off the chemicals!]

Other than that, I am just a crazy dog lady, I would say. I am interested about everything dog related, and I'm still learning...

Uta & Angel Buddy

January, 2021

Unfortunately we had to let our sweet, sweet Buddy boy cross the Rainbow Bridge just before Christmas 2020. Our hearts are completely broken. Cancer won.

Due to so many heartwarming and encouraging messages and emails from my customers I decided to keep this little business running and therefor keep Buddy’s legacy alive.

Thank you all! You mean the world to me!

Looks like we can not stay without paws in our house. Our Buddy boy sent us a little puppy!

His name is George and he was born March 29th, 2021.

Buddy’s legacy will stay his’, and George will become our little helper. I guess once a dog person, always a dog person. I wouldn’t want it any other way!

We adopted Lotte from a Rescue in Turkey. George loves her!
